# Upgrade

This article contains an information for those users who uses the **previous version of the plugin** (3.1.8 and below) as well as the users of **UniCPO 4 beta** version who wants to upgrade to the **release version of UniCPO 4**.

## If you are using UniCPO 3.1.8 or below

#### ❗️ A special note for users of UniCPO 3.1.8. The existed configuration for products under version 3 will no longer work in version 4. There is no "version 3 to version 4" migration tool yet. We do not have ETA for such tool. ❗️

Step by step:

* Remove the current version (3.1.8 or below) of the plugin. Completely.
* [Download the new version of the plugin from wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/uni-woo-custom-product-options/) and install it - either by downloading it from the web page of the plugin or by installing it directly in your admin area by using 'Add a plugin' menu item.
* Follow the instructions given in the first part of the [Installation page](https://kb.moomoo.agency/uni-cpo-4-documentation/installation) (first part ONLY as you do not need to buy the plugin now; please, pay attention to the task number 4!). Now you should have a fully functional FREE version of the plugin.
* [Contact us](https://support.moomoo.agency/) and provide your Envato purchase code and the name of the site where the new version of the plugin is active now. **Wait for further instructions. We will reply to you soon.**

If your **support period is NOT expired yet** or you have bought the plugin **between Oct 1st, 2017 and Jan 28th, 2018** - you are eligible for a free upgrade to UniCPO 4 PRO. **This is limited time offer. 👍 It ends on October 30th, 2018.**

### ⚠️ It is absolutely necessary to delete all the post types under "CPO options" admin menu which were created in versions of the plugin below version 4 before actually starting re-configuring process! ⚠️

## If you are using UniCPO 4 beta

Step by step:

* Remove the current version of the plugin. Completely.
* [Download the new version of the plugin from wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/uni-woo-custom-product-options/) and install it - either by downloading it from the web page of the plugin or by installing it directly in your admin area by using 'Add a plugin' menu item.
* Activate this new version of the plugin. This is a FREE version of the plugin.
* Got to [plugin's settings](https://kb.moomoo.agency/uni-cpo-4-documentation/usage/plugins-settings) page and opt in in the Freemius form displayed. Freemius is our partner and provider of our PRO version of the plugin.
